I have 3 dogs who have never visited a groomer before. They came for a teeth cleaning session and I was not sure how my dogs would tolerate the process. (I brush their teeth at home but they aren't fond!)
Plus, my dogs can be nervous. They have a very sensitive temperament, and though they are friendly, they can be shy and very timid with new people.
I was not sure what to expect.
I could not be happier with the entire experience. The service was speedy, affordable and my dogs' teeth have been transformed!! ๐คฉ They now all have much better breath and I don't have to worry about plaque build up causing dangerous gum issues.
Not only did we get amazing results (from just one session per dog!!), the staff members I met were very patient, knowledgeable and kind.
We have had bad experiences (including a vet dragging my dog along by her collar/lead!) so I am SO grateful to have found somewhere that treats my shy girls with the gentleness they need. โค
The young man who took my dogs inside the salon carried two of them. (They were too nervous to walk in.) Such a simple moment of kindness means SO much to us.

First time using Shampoodles and first time at the groomers for my 9 month old Chow Chow and I couldn't be happier with the whole experience!! Super easy to book in and the staff are so so lovely! He looks absolutely amazing and smells even better ๐

Information for new and existing customers โ๏ธ
๐๐ฆบWhen attending your appointment with us please come at the arranged time, drop offs are staggered to help with social distancing and so that dogs can go straight into the bath on arrival. If you come early we may have someone else here.
๐๐ฆบWe are asking you to hook your dogs onto our leads, please don’t let them loose. This is a new place for them so naturally they will head for the door.
๐๐ฆบIf you do come and someone is in reception please wait outside not only due to Covid-19 but some dogs don’t like other dogs being to close to them even if they are friendly.
๐๐ฆบOur appointments typically last around 2 hours.
Your dog is here for a full grooming service which means they get a bath, blow dry, haircut, ear clean, nail clip and doggy perfume. We won’t rush this as we like it to be a nice experience for your dog and we won’t compromise on care or quality. All our visitors get plenty of fuss and patience so if your pet is scared of any part of the process they will get more breaks to make it positive.
๐๐ฆบAlthough we temporarily have no waiting area due to COVID-19 restrictions you are welcome to wait in the car park and we can call you as soon as your pet is ready.
๐๐ฆบWe will have taken your information when booking you in but all customers will be asked how they would like their pet to be groomed. It is your choice and providing your dog is not matted we will groom to any style you like, we will not tell you how we will do your pet as it is yours not ours, however we can advise on what we think looks best.
๐๐ฆบPlease tell us if your dog has had previous bad experience with grooming or has bitten another groomer, we won’t be put off but we do need to know to keep our staff safe and make the experience as pleasurable as possible for your dog.
๐๐ฆบPlease pick up after your pets outside, we provide poop bags and a bin.
๐๐ฆบLastly please be kind to our staff we have a wonderful team of knowledgeable groomers who love your pets and our customers, we also have two fabulous young apprentices who you will also meet whilst visiting us.

Shampoodles was 14 on the 1st October 2021, what a journey we have had and what a fantastic team we have and wonderful pets and customers visiting us every day. The journey continues, onwards and upwards.
